In the recent years of my gaming experience and observation, something caught my attention and it is undeniable. Gamers and developers alike have put more emphasis on the graphics and the resolution of a game rather than the total quality of the game. It is sad to note that 1080p and frame rates are headlining. Visual satisfaction is what most of the gamers are after. A game with a pretty good plot and exceptional story and game mechanic is criticized by its rock-texture while a sub A title gets so much attention because it plays on an HD TV or monitor. The sad truth is that more and more people are into latest generation consoles – that is Xbox One and PS4 --- because of its aesthetics reasons. 

I would be a fool to say that I do not like high resolution and the odd lens glare that is relatively pleasing to the gamers’ eyes; to say that that criterion can make a good game makes me shake my head. It is nothing but a 2D strategy type of game that does not have the beautiful graphics of a Call of Duty game, let alone of a Metro 2033 game, but it does not mean the former is a much less game compared to that of the latter.
