Of course, the most emphasized criterion that gamers look for a game is the graphics. I really do not care about it personally but it has been a trend nowadays. Beautiful and realistic visuals may be very pleasing to the eyes but it does not make a good game if you know what I mean.

On the other hand, you know that a game is good simply when you are so engrossed at playing it over and over again, hundreds and hundreds of hours. You are very attached to it. When a game doesn't meet our expectations, sometimes we cry, sometimes we throw our controller especially if you have wasted not only your time on it but your hardly earned cash for it.
